••• Education and capacity building are key factors for sustainable global development. In 1990, "Education for All" was the ambitious goal of the World Conference on Education in Jomtien; the commitment was renewed at the World Education Forum in Dakar with the aim to reach basic education for all by 2015. Furthermore, governments, organisations and private companies have come to realise the importance of capacity building and training to improve their abilities to successfully shape change processes.
••• We support our clients in developing education systems that allow people to secure their own livelihoods and actively shape political and economic life. To reach all levels of society and all age groups, AGEG not only works within the framework of established educational systems, but also contributes to basic and advanced vocational as well as adult education.
••• We support our clients in shaping change processes through capacity building programmes and training. To allow for institutional learning and organisational development, we do not only focus on individual capacities, but also on the structures, processes and regulatory frameworks of our clients. We apply modern training methods, involving the participants in learning processes actively and making their needs and potentials the focus of our concern.
